Sweet Paris Marks 14 Years with Festive Birthday Menu Through May

-Houston-born crêperie to celebrate milestone with limited-time offerings across all locations this May-

This May, Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café celebrates 14 years since opening its original Rice Village location—marking the occasion with a month-long rollout of limited-time birthday menu items. On Saturday, May 16, guests are invited to celebrate the anniversary in-store, where the first 100 customers at each location will receive complimentary Sweet Paris swag bags, adding an extra layer of excitement to the month-long festivities. 

Founded in 2012 by Allison and Ivan Chavez, Sweet Paris introduced a then-uncommon concept to Houston’s dining scene: a fast-casual, bistro-style crêperie serving both sweet and savory crêpes alongside coffee, salads and light fare in a polished, European-inspired setting. Fourteen years later, the brand has expanded to 27 locations across Texas, Florida, Minnesota, Arizona, Tennessee, Arkansas and Mexico, with additional markets—including North Carolina and Alabama—on the horizon.

“At its core, Sweet Paris was always meant to be a place of escape—somewhere guests could step into a European bistro, even if just for a short time,” said co-founder Allison Chavez. “We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and energized by what’s still ahead.”

To commemorate the milestone, all Sweet Paris locations will feature a lineup of celebratory, birthday-themed offerings throughout May.

Highlights include a Birthday Cake Crêpe filled with cake cream and graham cracker crumble, Birthday Funfetti Waffles topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, and a Birthday Cake Milkshake served in a Nutella- and sprinkle-rimmed glass and topped with a funfetti waffle. The menu also features two festive specialty lattes: the hot Birthday Cake Latte, infused with birthday cake flavor, and the Iced Birthday Cake Cloud Latte, topped with birthday cake cold foam. Additional promotions will be available through the Sweet Paris app.
