Houston Arboretum: Halloween Sip & Stroll on Thursday, October 30, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.; Your spooky stroll on Halloween Eve will include a curated nature hike, two glasses of wine or Saint Arnold Brewing Company beer, and festive bites. Come for a meet-and-greet with our ambassador animals, then head out on your hike to spot critters along the route. This event is rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and wear walking shoes. HMNS: Spirits & Skeletons, HMNS Hermann Park | Friday, October 31 | 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. (General Admission); Creep among the undead as DJ SkaDean spins haunting beats in Alfred C. Glassell, Jr. Hall, or moonwalk your way to the Morian Hall of Paleontology, where DJ Q’s anything-but-prehistoric mix will have you dancing with the skeletons all night long. Over in Wiess Energy Hall, feel the shock of a high-voltage performance by Joilux, or drift into an otherworldly vibe with karaoke and visuals in the Burke Baker Planetarium. Houston Premium Outlets: Spook-tacular Halloween on Thursday, October 30, 5 – 7 p.m. at 29300 Hempstead Road, Cypress; Little witches, ghost, and ghouls are invited to haunt Houston Premium Outlets for frighteningly good time at the Spook-tacular Halloween Event. The family-friendly event will celebrate the spooky season complete with pumpkin decorating for the first 150 guests, balloon art, face painting, costume contest, trick-or-treat scavenger hunt, festive photo opps and many more thrills.

Meow Wolf Houston’s First Cosmic Howl: This October 31, Meow Wolf Houston throws its first-ever Cosmic Howl, a massive Halloween celebration across dimensions from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. For one night, Radio Tave becomes the city’s ultimate house party, filled with costumes, performances, and interdimensional revelry. The date also marks Meow Wolf Houston’s one-year anniversary, turning Cosmic Howl into both a birthday bash and a Halloween blowout. Mexican Sugar Houston – Día de los Muertos Celebration: Friday, October 31 – Sunday, November 2 | Times vary by event; Mexican Sugar is honoring Día de los Muertos with a three-day celebration inspired by the rich cultural traditions that shape its cuisine and community. The Finn: HiFi at The Finn–The vinyl-listening cocktail lounge inside The Finn, Houston’s chef-driven culinary destination in downtown, will transform into a Spookeasy, running Monday, October 27 through Saturday, November 1. On Wednesday, October 29, sharpen your cocktail skills at a Special FX Mixology Class from 6–8 pm. Thursday, October 30 brings BYOV Night, where guests can bring their own vinyl from 4 pm–12 am. On Halloween night (Friday, October 31), the celebration culminates with Prohibition Burlesque and a costume contest! Doors open at 8:30 pm with performances from 9 pm–12 am. Uniting Abbas’s Pakistani heritage and Michelle’s smoky Southern touch, the two have collaborated on a Butter Chicken Biscuit — a savory standout made with butter chicken–spiced fried chicken, Havarti cheese, and a soulful Murgh Makhani gravy. It’s served on Michelle’s roasted garlic cilantro biscuit, meant to evoke the naan swiped through the classic Peshawari dish.

Duck N Bao: The Sichuan dim sum house is getting in on the action this month with two featured cocktails that channel Halloween vibes. Available at the Rice Village and Memorial restaurant locations. Halloween Margarita — A vibrant orange potion blends smooth tequila, Cointreau, orange juice and lime juice, agave and edible glitter that makes it glow. Garnished with black lava salt and dehydrated lime wheel. $15. Midnight Margarita — Smooth tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime, blackberries and butterfly pea flower create a bewitching set off by gold, shimmering edible glitter and a black lava salt rim. $15.
Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina: Goode Company’s Halloween Soirée happening Friday, October 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight; This exclusive, ticketed soirée will transform the location into a mischievous and moody Halloween haunt. Guests will enjoy an immersive experience featuring live mariachi, a DJ, door prizes and a costume contest. General Admission tickets are priced at $50 per person and include access to the event, a selection of chef-curated bites and two handcrafted cocktails. The Marigold Club: The Marigold Masquerade – October 31 | 5:00 pm – Close; Halloween at The Marigold Club is where chic meets spirited fun. On Friday, October 31, guests can enjoy The Marigold Club’s regular dinner service elevated with flowing champagne, delicious bites, and an atmosphere buzzing with energy. Costumes are encouraged but never required.

Montrose Cheese & Wine: Costume Contest for Four-Legged Friends–Bring your pups in costume for the annual dog costume contest, running from Friday, October 24, through Halloween at 5 PM. Guests can stop by during regular business hours to enter. The winning pup’s human will take home a 6-pack of wine, while their furry friend will receive a bag of Olympia Provisions Dog Treats. Zanti Cucina Italiana: Through October 31, guests can enjoy Zanti’s signature Spooky Cocktail Tree, available in tiers of five to twelve cocktails. The lineup includes the Phantom Fog, a blend of Tanqueray Gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, and blackberry hibiscus lavender syrup; The Scarlet Spell, featuring Don Julio 70, cherry liqueur, blood orange, lemon juice, and agave; and Wicked Whiskey, mixed with Bulleit Bourbon, Averna, ginger liqueur, lemon juice, and black-infused turbinado sugar with red pearls. The menu also features Spooky Shotz—a two-part Trick and Treat duo—combining Ketel One Vodka with Crème de Violette and lemon, alongside Casamigos Blanco infused with beets and mint, Cointreau, and simple syrup.
