B&B Butchers Celebrates 10 Years of Steaks, Spirits, and Community

B&B Butchers, Houston’s beloved steakhouse and the first concept from Berg Hospitality Group, marked its 10-year anniversary on Tuesday, Oct. 21, with an unforgettable evening.

Adding to the excitement, Mayor John Whitmire joined founder and CEO Ben Berg on site to present an official City of Houston proclamation, declaring Oct. 21, 2025, as B&B Butchers Day.

The honor recognizes the restaurant’s contributions to Houston’s dining scene, its enduring local presence, and its commitment to community — from supporting first responders to partnering with the Houston Food Bank and other local charities over the past decade.

Hundreds of guests gathered at the Washington Avenue landmark to toast the milestone, enjoying handcrafted cocktails, curated bites and live entertainment throughout the restaurant. The celebration featured chef-led food stations with hand-carved filet mignon and prime rib, tenderloin, mac and cheese, brussels sprouts, and Mr. G’s Classic Caesar salad, alongside a seafood and raw bar with oysters and caviar.

Guests sipped signature cocktails from a series of themed stations, including Rémy Martin Sidecars paired with live cigar rolling on the upstairs patio, Telmont Brut and caviar pairings at the raw bar, Opulent Espresso Martinis, and Grey Goose and Red Bull cocktails.

A live Champagne tree greeted guests while roaming photo ops and a “live carcass” display in the Butcher Shop brought playful nods to the restaurant’s steakhouse roots.

Since its debut, B&B Butchers has hosted countless celebrations and welcomed both locals and visitors from around the world. The restaurant has also become a cornerstone of Berg Hospitality’s success story, now spanning 14 dining concepts across Texas.
