
The Health Museum to Host 2025 Health Heroes Gala Honoring Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale on November 1, 2025
The Health Museum, an interactive health science museum located in the Houston Museum District, will celebrate the people and institutions that play a critical role in creating a healthier world at the annual Health Heroes 2025 Gala on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Hotel ZaZa – Museum District.


Event Chairs Lynn and Ed Jones, both with Houston Methodist, invite guests to join them at the Health Heroes gala, which honors a distinguished member of the Houston community who has played an integral role in overall health, while celebrating the role that everyone plays in inspiring healthier living for all.
The 2025 Health Hero Honoree is Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale, Director of the OCD Institute Texas and Founder of Peace of Mind Foundation, recognized for her dedication to making a difference in the lives of those with mental illness.
Dr. McIngvale is nationally renowned for her work around obsessive-compulsive disorder, mental illness, and mental health stigma, and is a sought-after speaker, an esteemed researcher, and advocate in her field.
The 2025 Health Heroes Gala will feature an evening of dinner, cocktails, a live auction, music, and dancing.
