Meow Wolf and Houston Dynamo Present New Mural by GONZO247 on Shell Energy Stadium:
Meow Wolf Houston and the Houston Dynamo unveiled Frequency of the City, a new large-scale mural by Houston icon and Meow Wolf Artist Liaison GONZO247 on the north plaza wall of Shell Energy Stadium in a welcoming celebration in this summer’s FIFA events. Visible to the general public from the north side of the stadium, the mural is free to view and open to all.

Frequency of the City blends Houston’s past, present, and future into a single evolving signal. Throughout the mural, GONZO247 layers together references to the city’s creative identity: slab culture rendered in candy paint gradients and chrome swanger rims, graffiti lineage, and larger-than-life soccer players captured mid-motion and electric.

TDECU Unveils New Mural To Celebrate World’s Biggest Soccer Tournament in Houston:

TDECU, Houston’s largest credit union, has partnered with renowned local artist Donkeeboy to create a vibrant mural celebrating Houston’s role as a host city for the world’s premier soccer event. The mural is located at TDECU’s Space City Credit Union Member Center on Harrisburg Boulevard.
“This mural reflects the pride, diversity, and spirit of the people who live, work, and build their lives here,” said TDECU Market President Glenn Applewhite III. “It honors our story while looking ahead to an exciting future for our city. This mural is a reminder of what can happen when organizations and neighbors come together to invest in something meaningful.”
The new mural features several hands holding aloft a soccer scarf in front of a soccer ball, with Houston’s iconic skyline in the background and a space shuttle lifting off into the starry sky.
Frances Dyess, President of the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce says the mural celebrate everything that makes Houston great.
“From the first moment I saw it, I thought it was beautiful,” Dyess said. “It celebrates culture, community, color, and unity… and the fact that it was painted by Donkeeboy, a local artist with many other murals in the East End, it makes it even more special for us.”
