Guard and Grace, a modern steakhouse in downtown Houston, has announced their fifth anniversary in the vibrant city of Houston.

To commemorate this milestone, symbolizing the strength and growth associated with the traditional five-year anniversary gift of wood, the restaurant is hosting a star-studded evening benefiting Southern Smoke Foundation on November 20, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 p.m. at the restaurant at 500 Dallas Street. The event will feature renowned chefs from Houston’s diverse culinary landscape.

“We are thrilled to celebrate five fantastic years in Houston,” said Troy Guard, Owner and Executive Chef of TAG Restaurant Group. “This milestone reflects the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the incredible support from our loyal Houston community. To make this anniversary celebration truly special, we’ve planned an unforgettable night of culinary collaboration with some of Houston’s most acclaimed chefs.”

Guard and Grace has enlisted a remarkable lineup of guest celebrity chefs to create an exclusive night filled with extraordinary culinary creations, innovative cocktails and delightful surprises.

The roster includes pitmaster Quy Hoang and his partners Robin and Terry Wong from Blood Brothers BBQ; Aaron Bludorn, Partner and Executive Chef of Bludorn; Drake Leonards, Executive Chef and Partner of Eunice; Bobby Matos, Chef of State of Grace, part of the Ford Fry Restaurant Group with concepts such as La Lucha and Superica; Tristen Epps, James Beard Award-nominated chef and Chopped Champion; Adam Vero, Executive Chef at Guard and Grace Houston; and Troy Guard, Owner and Executive Chef of TAG Restaurant Group.
