Mahesh’s Kitchen to offer lunch service Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mahesh’s Kitchenm which is dedicated to Mahesh Puranik and his vision of opening a restaurant, is an upscale Indian restaurant offering lunch service with boldly flavored dishes. The all-new lunch menu is stacked full with soon-to-be favorites like Paneer Mirch, Shrimp Shahi Korma, and Amritsar Murg.

The restaurant is also expanding its weekend hours of operation, and it will be serving its full dinner menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 10 pm.

In tandem with the launch of its lunch service, Mahesh’s Kitchen has also announced the launch of non-profit fundraiser “Currying Favor,” which will run for the entire month of February. This month, $2 from every curry sold during lunch hours will be donated to Sugar Land-based domestic violence non-profit Daya, which empowers South Asian survivors of domestic and sexual violence through culturally specific services and educates the community to end the cycle of abuse.

Vegetarian curries on Mahesh’s Kitchen’s lunch menu that will be included in the fundraising initiative are Paneer Mirch, Palak Paneer, Kolhapuri Vegetable, Navratan Korma and Malai Kofta. Non-vegetarian curries include Butter Chicken, Amritsar Muth, Kerala Fish, Shrimp Shahi Korma and Madras Urundai. With 10 curries in total, guests will have an abundance of opportunities in which to show their support for Daya throughout the duration of the month.
