Crawfish Cafe and Pho Prime, two concepts from Mamba Hospitality Group, have officially come together under one roof in a newly renovated 10,000-square-foot space designed for all-day dining, drinks, and gatherings.

The revamped venue is a complete overhaul of the original Crawfish Cafe that opened in 2013, and now blends modern design with Vietnamese tradition, New Orleans flair, and Houston energy. The dual concept location in Houston’s Chinatown is full-service, with guests seated and served by staff and provided with menus from both Crawfish Cafe and Pho Prime.

The dining area is divided into two rooms, and guests are greeted by cultural accents from both Vietnam and New Orleans, with two 20-foot side-by-side murals led by Houston artist Donkeeboy that celebrate Bourbon Street and the cultural fusion that defines Viet-Cajun cuisine.

“This opening is more than just a new location– it’s a meaningful celebration of our roots, the bold spirit of New Orleans, and the community that makes Houston home,” said Kiet Duong, co-founder of Mamba Hospitality Group. “It’s a space meant to transport guests, inspire them, and make them feel at home. We can’t wait to share this experience with everyone who walks through our doors.” Photo courtesy of Crawfish Cafe & Pho Prime

“We’re really intentional about the neighborhoods we choose and where we think Handies Douzo will feel like a natural fit,” said Daniel Lee, chef and co-owner of Duckstache Hospitality. “Houston diners know what they like, and Uptown is such a vibrant, fast-growing area.
