The immersive rock experience, narrated by Kevin Bacon, now open
The Houston premiere of Rolling Stone Presents: AMPLIFIED, The Immersive Rock Experience, opened on May 9 at ARTECHOUSE Houston.

Narrated by actor/musician Kevin Bacon, the unprecedented audio and visual experience transports audiences to the mosh pit, utilizing ARTECHOUSE’s cutting edge, 270-degree, floor to ceiling 18K-resolution digital canvas and state-of-the-art surround sound.
AMPLIFIED offers a 50-minute immersive journey into the music, history, imagery, and culture of rock ‘n’ roll, encompassing over 1,000 photographs, 200 videos, 1,300 Rolling Stone covers, and featuring over 300 iconic artists whose music changed the world. Tickets start at $39 (plus fees).
Rolling Stone Presents: AMPLIFIED brings the history of rock ‘n’ roll to life with a dynamic mix of music and visuals. The show is a guided tour through the story of revolutionary music and the changes it brought. AMPLIFIED draws from rare live performance and behind-the-scenes footage, never-before-seen moments, exclusive portrait sessions, album art, and posters, delivering one of the most comprehensive collections of rock ‘n’ roll imagery ever assembled.

AMPLIFIED includes the work of 500 photographers and film directors – like Mark Selifer, Danny Clinch, Lynn Goldsmith, Anton Corbijn, Bob Gruen, Jim Marshall, Neil Preston, Janette Beckman, and Pooneh Ghana – who took risks and pushed boundaries, just like the musicians they immortalized.
Rolling Stone Presents: AMPLIFIED aligns with ARTECEHOUSE’s commitment to connecting the public with innovative, immersive art experiences and using its cutting-edge technology platform for cultural and artistic storytelling, offering visitors a dynamic, multi-sensory journey through the worlds of music, art, and technology.
Adapted by ARTECHOUSE Studio for the Houston location, Amplified was originally produced by Illuminarium Experiences and created by Brand New World Studios in partnership with Rolling Stone. Brad Siegel, whose transformative leadership at TNT, TCM and Cartoon Network shaped contemporary media, and Rolling Stone veteran Jodi Peckman are Executive Producers. Peckman also serves as Photography and Film Curator. Meghan Benson is Director of Photography. Joe Levy is Executive Editor and Music Supervisor. Design and Visual Narrative are by Pentagram principals Abbott Miller and Emily Oberman. Motion Design is by Good Company. SoundDesign is by Academy Award winner Peter Lehman. Kevin Wagner is Supervising Producer.

“Rolling Stone Presents: AMPLIFIED” is the ultimate immersion rock experience, a journey through rock ‘n’ roll and its impact on popular culture,” says Executive Producer Brad Siegel, Founder of Brand New World Studios. “It’s full of breathtaking images and music, but we knew it needed to be more than a wild ride; it needed to be a story that explored the impact of the soundtrack of our lives because stories bring people together, help us interpret our experiences and find meaning.”
“We are proud to present Amplified, a powerful story of rock ‘n’ roll – one that echoes our own legacy and the deep cultural impact this music has made,” said Gus Wenner, Chief Executive Officer of Rolling Stone. “Amplified is a uniquely immersive experience and transports you through the history of rock ‘n’ roll – past and present – through sight, sound, and motion.”
“Music imagery is about experiences,” says Jodi Peckman, Executive Producer and former Creative Director of Rolling Stone. “It’s about the unbridled joy of concerts and our connection to our favorite artists. Every picture tells a story and Rolling Stone Presents: AMPLIFIED has hundreds of stories to tell.”
Unique to the ARTECHOUSE experience is its Extended Reality (XR) Bar, offering an interactive experience through cocktails and mocktails to enhance visitor engagement with Rolling Stone Presents: AMPLIFIED. Blending cutting-edge XR technology with craft mixology, drinks come to life through exclusive XR activations, accessible via ARTECHOUSE’s XR mobile app, available from the App Store or Google Play.
From The Beatles at the Sam Houston Coliseum, to Elvis at the Rodeo, Bob Dylan’s “Night of the Hurricane” in 1976, and being the hometown of Beyoncé, Bun B, ZZ Top, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more, Houston has cultivated and welcomed artists with choruses of boisterous cheers and applause. “Given Houston’s deep connection to the evolution of rock and pop music over the decades, we were thrilled to partner with Rolling Stone to bring AMPLIFIED to Houstonians and continue the city’s tradition of supporting and celebrating musical acts from around the world,” says Sandro Kereselidze, co-founder of ARTECHOUSE. “This exhibit aligns perfectly with our mission to connect the public with cultural and artistic storytelling through cutting-edge technology. We’re excited for guests of all ages to experience the history of rock ‘n’ roll like never before.”
