Goode Company Seafood Celebrates 40-Year Anniversary with Special Menu and More

Goode Company Seafood is presenting a variety of specials and activations launching this summer to mark the restaurant’s 40th anniversary.

In 1986, Jim Goode, legendary founder of the Goode Company restaurants, converted a passenger train car into a beloved seafood eatery off of Westpark Drive in Houston. Today, there are two Goode Co. Seafood locations.

“It’s been my family’s honor to serve the people of Houston for the last 40 years at Goode Co. Seafood,” said Goode Company Chef and President Levi Goode. “The Gulf Coast has been an important part of my family’s history and I’m grateful for each and every guest as well as all of the purveyors we have relationships with that have allowed us to make it this far.”

To pay homage to the last four decades, Goode Company is serving up unique offerings like throwback pricing, new specialty menu items, happy hours, significant discounts on wine and more. These specials and activations start in June and last through September. See below for additional details and specifications.

Throwback Pricing & Milestone-Worthy Happy Hours

Through September 30, 2026: Goode Company is taking it back to 1986 every day during happy hour between June and September. For select menu items, the restaurant will offer the original menu pricing. Specialty items include the Mini Campechana for $10, Empanadas for $5, and Catfish Beignet for $8. The special offer will be available at both Goode Company Seafood locations. The restaurant is also revamping its happy hour offerings with new menu items like the Bait & Tackle Mini Martini and ½ Pint of Draft Beer. The new happy hour offerings will be available at both Goode Company Seafood locations. The throwback pricing and the new Happy Hour offerings will be available 3 – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Specialty Menu Items

Through September 30, 2026: Between June and September, Goode Company is introducing new limited-time additions to the menu including Shrimp and Crab Tamales, and Oysters Rockefeller. The special menu items will be available at both Goode Company Seafood locations.

40% Off Wine Bottles on Wednesdays 

June 8 – September 30: To celebrate 40 years in business, Goode Co. Seafood is offering 40% off of wine bottles on Wednesdays during the campaign at both Goode Co. Seafood locations, as well as Goode Co. Fish Camp in the Woodlands. 

Commemorative Partnership with Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation

Available now while supplies last: In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Goode Co. Seafood has partnered with Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation to launch a limited-edition fire-branded wooden Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie Box, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Gulf and coastal conservation. TPWF, a 501(c)3 nonprofit with 35 years of science-backed conservation work — including the installation of the second-largest artificial reef on the Texas Gulf and the restoration of more than 7,100 acres of coastal barrier along Matagorda Peninsula — aligns directly with Goode Co. Seafood’s four-decade commitment to the waters that have sustained its kitchens and its community. The limited-edition box will be available to purchase at shop.goodecompany.com, with a portion of each sale returned to the mission of keeping Texas wild.
