Shop The 100-Year Tradition Of Volunteer-Crafted, One-Of-A-Kind Treasures Bringing Hope And Healing To Children With Neurological Disorders

The Blue Bird Circle, a women-led nonprofit committed to advancing pediatric neurology research and improving the lives of children with neurological disorders, proudly enters its 103rd year of service.

Spring forward with The Blue Bird Circle for their annual Spring Event on  Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 AM – 2 PM.

The Blue Bird Circle invites the public to kick off the spring season with a joyful day of shopping, creativity and community impact.

The Blue Bird Circle Shop is located at 615 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77006. Everyone is welcome. This event is free and open to the public with no entrance fee or donation required. 

In addition to seasonal merchandise, the 2026 Easter eggs and Easter baskets will be presented. These featured items are steeped in more than a decade of tradition and are lovingly crafted by Blue Bird Circle Volunteers.

Easter Eggs: Six egg designs are chosen every year, researched and curated by talented Egg Chairs.  Selections vary annually, ensuring a fresh and highly anticipated collection each year. Every ceramic egg is meticulously cleaned, dyed and embellished by Circle volunteers.  They are nestled into their cartons and packaged in a protective wrapper.  Each six-egg  package is priced at $20.00.

Easter Baskets: Each year “Basket Birds” gather to craft petals and flowers from crepe paper and a lot of love.  Baskets are fashioned using Blue Bell ice cream cartons, generously donated by “the little creamery in Brenham”. Basket colors range from pastels to bolder shades in the Easter palette.  Each basket is priced at $20.00.

Each package of eggs and every basket includes a brochure describing the work of The Blue Bird Circle to remind customers that their purchase helps our mission to provide hope, love and healing to children with neurological disorders.

Eggs and Baskets are also sold at numerous establishments throughout Houston including Bering’s, Buchanan’s Plants, Briargrove Pharmacy, Brookwood, The Hive, Monogram Shop, PepperLou Gifts, St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Magpies Gifts-Bellaire, and Enchanted Gifts-Richmond.
