Christmas Village at Bayou Bend Is Back
Sledding, Sparkle, and Santa + a NEW Gingerbread Village

Escape into a storybook holiday! Christmas Village at Bayou Bend is back and brighter than ever with thousands of lights illuminating the 14-acre estate., and is open from December 5–30. Discover an immersive Christmas experience at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens. A dazzling bridge brings you into a winter wonderland featuring thousands of lights throughout the 14-acre estate.

Highlights:
- Sled down some faux snow, hunt for Santa’s reindeer, and check out the handcrafted model train as it circles the 15-foot Christmas tree.
- Explore GingerBread Lane, a gingerbread village with more than 500 buildings by Guinness World Record holder Jon Lovitch.
- Watch family-friendly short films from the Weihnachtsfilm (Christmas Film Festival) in Berlin.
- Listen to carolers, play your own holiday tunes at music-bell stations, and marvel at a 3-D video animation by LD Systems.
- Visit by December 23, and get your photo taken with Santa for just $10.
- Stop by the Cottage Shop for unique holiday gifts, and tour the first floor of the historic house to see live actors, theatrical effects, and beautiful holiday decorations.*

Premium Night Tickets | December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27: On Premium Nights, visitors can enjoy an additional hour of fun and merriment.

Sensory-Friendly Nights | December 14 & 28: Christmas Village is specially adapted to be sensory-friendly on these nights.
Features include:
- Early start time (4:30 pm) for visitors who prefer daylight visits
- Limited number of tickets sold, to reduce crowding
- Sensory kits and a quiet room available
- Accessibility maps and detailed information for advance planning
- Adjusted sound, light, and theatrical effects for visitor comfort
- Flexible house-tour admissions good for the whole evening**
What to know:

Christmas Village takes place rain or shine.
Parking: A limited amount of priority parking is available for $10 (card only). Parking in other lots is free. As needed, drivers are directed to free, off-site overflow parking.
Single-occupant strollers are welcome, though many paths do have steps. Service animals are permitted, but please leave pets at home.
Visitors with limited mobility: Before you arrive, please call 713-639-7750 to make arrangements so your visit is as enjoyable as possible.
Drinks are for sale at the bar. A variety of food from Landry’s, sweets, and drinks are available for purchase.
