Messina Hof’s 48th Annual Harvest Festival Celebrates Throughout August in Bryan and Fredericksburg
Harvest Festival Activities:
- Moonlit Harvests
- On Friday evenings, kick-off the Harvest Festival with a buffet spread of seasonal favorites and select harvest wines before picking and stomping the grapes that will go into the award-winning Ports at the Estate Vineyard. Attendees can leave their mark on a tee-shirt with their own wine-soaked purple footprints and toast to harvest season with a final sip of Port.

- Daytime Harvests
- On Saturday mornings, friends and family can spend a day at the Estate Vineyard to pick and stomp the grapes as a winemaker tradition, sip on various harvest wines, or take a guided vineyard and Estate tour to learn the rich history of winemaking. Attendees can leave their mark on a tee-shirt with their own wine-soaked purple footprints. Guests can also enjoy the brunch and sangria bar with the Harvest Plus Pass.

- A Clueless Murder
- Step into a world of intrigue at The Reading of Samuel Sapphire’s Will, an immersive murder mystery dinner on Saturday, August 2nd from 5:30-8:30 p.m. set against the stunning backdrop of a Texas vineyard at sunset. When the wealthy and enigmatic Samuel Sapphire meets an untimely end, a cast of eccentric heirs, suspicious staff, and shadowy confidants gathers to claim his fortune—and uncover the truth. Guests will enjoy a lavish buffet and exceptional wines as they navigate a night filled with deception, betrayal, and deadly secrets.

- Embark on a culinary journey on Saturday, August 9th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at an elevated dining experience, where rich game meats meet masterfully paired wines amidst the beauty of the vineyard. This four-course feast, showcasing the signature Vineyard Cuisine™, invites guests to explore robust, rustic flavors refined by exceptional wine pairings.

- A Deadly Vintage
- Raise a glass to mystery and generosity at the Annual Vintage Release Party, hosted by the esteemed Chardonnay Crest Winery on Friday, August 15th from 6-9 p.m. This year’s exclusive celebration doubles as a fundraiser supporting the wildfire recovery efforts of Cabernet Cellars—uniting the valley’s top vintners for a night of wines and purpose. But as the evening unfolds, a shocking murder shatters the festivities, turning a night of prestige into a race to unmask a killer.

- Grand Finale Gala: Golden Harvest
- To celebrate another successful Harvest Festival at the Estate Winery, this elegant closing event invites guests to indulge in an exquisite menu created by the Vintage House Restaurant Chef and sip on newly released wines. On Saturday, August 16th from 5:30-9 p.m., guests will enjoy a curated selection of wines poured to match the multi-course meal for a seamless and unforgettable pairing experience while supporting our region’s rich cultural and agricultural heritage.Attendees are encouraged to embrace a vineyard-inspired casual chic dress code; opting for rich, autumnal colors like deep reds, burgundies, golds, and oranges.
