Meow Wolf Houston Announces Summer Concert Series Lineup Celebrating the Sounds of Houston

Meow Wolf Houston is cranking up the volume this summer with its first-ever Summer Concert Series, a four-part celebration of Houston musical talent. From June 6 through July 25, local favorites will ignite the stage at 8 PM on select summer nights, merging the mind-bending world of Meow Wolf with the raw energy of Texas music. It’s a high-octane hometown summer party.
“Houston’s music scene has always been bold, genre-defying, and deeply original, so it felt natural to bring that same energy into our Radio Tave world,” said Aaron Johnson, General Manager of Meow Wolf Houston. “This concert series is about celebrating the artists who define Texas’ sound and give guests a new reason to experience Meow Wolf in a whole new way.”
The Summer Concert Series lineup spans genres as diverse as Texas itself from dance-punk and synth-pop to blues rock and Latin pop. Each show begins at 8 PM with tickets on sale now. Below is the stellar lineup of artists ready to turn Meow Wolf Houston into an otherworldly concert experience:
Swimwear Department: June 6, 8 PM (TIX)
Houston’s own Swimwear Department kicks off the series with their refreshingly offbeat brand of dance-punk. Obsessed with swimming pools and shopping malls, this quartet channels the quirky fun of the B-52s and DEVO into an upbeat sonic splash.
Night Drive: June 20, 8 PM (TIX)
Texan duo Night Drive takes the stage to deliver a midnight rush of modern synth-pop. Their music is a road trip through dark city streets pulsing basslines, shimmering synths, and vocals that ride the edge between dreamy and daring. Night Drive’s sound explores the darker currents of emotion while keeping the crowd moving to infectious electronic beats.
The Mighty Orq: July 11, 8 PM (TIX)
A living legend of Houston’s blues-rock scene, The Mighty Orq brings a dose of pure Texas soul to Radio Tave. His performance is equal parts bayou blues grit, swampy juke-joint fun, and full-throttle rock ’n’ roll. One moment you’ll hear heartfelt, gritty folk storytelling unfurling from under his signature Stetson hat; the next, he’s wielding a slide on a cigar box guitar, igniting a lightning storm of growling riffs.
Mango Punch!: July 25, 8 PM (TIX)
Six-time winner of a Houston Press Music Award, Mango Punch! lives up to that distinction. The band was formed by Walter Suhr, an award-winning songwriter, with the purpose of providing musical entertainment with high standards of excellence and authenticity. Their uniquely diverse repertoire spans a large gamut of styles: from Top 40, swing, disco, R&B and country to salsa, merengue, vallenato, cumbia and more.
