“We were the first multi-day event in this region,” explained Wine & Food Week founder Constance McDerby.
“Looking back on these 20 years we are so proud how this event has evolved raising more than $2 million dollars for various non-profits, all the while supporting local chefs with programs like a cash prize of $5,000 for our Chef of Chefs competition. With the help of longtime partner H-E-B, we helped elevate wine and food while launching many restaurants, wines, and craft beverages. It is extremely gratifying to look back and know that we made a positive impact on a community we love, but we could not do it without a village of volunteers, sponsors and the support of chefs and wineries throughout the globe,” added McDerby.
Wine & Food Week guests will rub elbows and mingle with tastemakers who have made their mark on the culinary and wine industry in remarkable ways.
Meet special guests throughout the week including Master Sommelier Guy Stout, Chris Sheperd and Lindsey Brown, Chef Carlos Ramos, Chef Michael Cordua, Patrica Sharpe, Katie Stone, Chef Masaru Fukuda, Chef Austin Simmons, Chef Fernando Desa, Fashion Icon Chloe Dao, artists Kathy Womack and Shelbi Nicole and many, many more.
