Tickets now on sale for the impact-driven fundraiser hosted by Anosh Inc Foundation
The Anosh Inc Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that serves the Houston community and beyond, announces ‘A Night for Hope,’ a fundraising gala dedicated to making an impact in the lives of those affected by catastrophic disasters in Hawaii, Libya, and Morocco. Happening on Friday, November 3 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Bougainvilleas Events Venue & Catering, tickets are now on sale for the event that aims to unite the community for a common cause, and create lasting memories of generosity.
One hundred percent of donations and ticket sales from the event will be directed towards relief efforts in Libya, Hawaii, and Morocco, distributed and dispersed through reputable organizations, including UNICEF and Direct Relief.
In a show of dedication to the cause, Anosh Inc Foundation will also match all donations, up to $100,000.
Relief efforts the gala will benefit include the following:
Libya Flood Crisis: Eastern Libya has been devastated by a destructive storm, resulting in extensive flooding, and posing a continuing threat to the region. Proceeds will go toward essential on the ground efforts to help the affected communities rebuild and recover.
Hawaii Wildfire Crisis: A catastrophic wildfire struck Maui, causing substantial damage and loss of life. All donations will go toward helping these communities rebuild and regain their lives.
Morocco Earthquake Crisis: Morocco faced a devastating earthquake, impacting nearly 450,000 people. Funds will support crucial rescue efforts, debris clearance, healthcare, sanitation, and mental health support.
A Night for Hope will feature an unforgettable black-tie evening filled with local fare and fine dining from Bougainvilleas Venue, sweet treats from Lunaria Sweets, Susie’s Pastry Shoppe and Sweet Factory, and teas and coffees from Qamaria Coffee and Royal Roastery.
Local entrepreneur and former news anchor Sara Alwar will emcee the evening’s programming which will also comprise of auctions, inspiring speakers including Dr. Heather Bergdahl and her father Mr. Michael Bergdahl, live entertainment and performances by Drums of the Pacific and Zubair Alwadi, and more surprises for a great cause.
“As an immigrant, I have personally witnessed the many inequalities present in medicine, education, and housing. My goal is to help eliminate these disparities. I believe that everyone deserves access to the same opportunities. That’s where our efforts and mission come in,” said Dr. Anosh Ahmed, founder of the Anosh Inc Foundation. “This fundraising gala is a unique opportunity to make a difference and bring hope and relief to the victims of these devastating disasters. We hope the Houston community will join us on November 3rd as we gather to make a difference for those who need it most right now.”
A live auction including a traditional Moroccan tea set and a one-of-a-kind work of art by Texas-based Oil Painter and Lithographer Hajer Deyaf are among the distinctive goods available for bidding with 100% of funds going directly to the cause.
