JuiceLand to Celebrate Grand Opening of Latest Shop in Bellaire on January 16 with 100% of the Day’s Sales Being Donated to Southern Smoke

In an effort to give back to service industry professionals, the one-day event will benefit Houston chef Chris Shepherd’s nonprofit foundation

Doors open at 7 a.m.

JuiceLand is thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of its sixth Houston location on Saturday, January 16, beginning at 7 a.m., while also giving back to service industry professionals who’ve been heavily impacted by COVID-19.

JuiceLand is currently operating as a to-go only model at all shops in Texas, including during this grand opening. The company is here to help boost the immunity of guests.

All proceeds from purchases made at the Bellaire shop on Saturday, January 9, from open to close will be donated to Southern Smoke Foundation, the Texas-based charity that provides assistance for those in the food and beverage community across the nation.

Austin-based JuiceLand has been known for championing community health by offering a plant-based menu full of juices, smoothies, food, and fun offerings. While new to the Bellaire community,

JuiceLand was named Best Juice Bar in the Houston Chronicle’s 2020 Best Of Awards and has also won numerous awards in Texas over the past 10 years, from Best Vegetarian Restaurant to Best Smoothie. In accordance with its traditions and company culture — such as its monthly special where 50 percent of all proceeds from the sale of a special item are donated to local nonprofit organizations — JuiceLand is excited to continue working more closely with the Houston community, including Southern Smoke.

“We’re so inspired by the efforts of the Southern Smoke Foundation, and wanted to use the grand opening of our new shop as an opportunity to celebrate them and contribute to the cause,” said JuiceLand founder and owner Matt Shook.

Launched by Chris Shepherd in 2015, the Southern Smoke Emergency Relief Fund has distributed $4,329,402 to 2,180 people nationwide since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis. And to date, Southern Smoke has distributed more than $6 million — both directly to people in need and to organizations.

Patrons attending the grand opening of JuiceLand Bellaire will enjoy the amazing plant-based menu items while also supporting the local restaurant industry. Favorites to try include the Frijole Roller, a vegan seven-layer dip wrap with potato and mushroom picadillo, black bean spread, spinach, and vegan sour cream rolled into a spinach tortilla with a side of Yellowbird habanero sauce; and popular superfood Golden Mylk Coffee Latte, made with cold brew coffee, hemp seeds, dates, turmeric, coconut oil, cinnamon, and vanilla.

Grand opening specials on January 16 also include:

  • Free fanny pack with purchase of juice / smoothie / bowl
  • One lucky customer will win raffle prize of half off JuiceLand drinks for a year

JuiceLand is located at Bellaire Town Center | 5103 Bellaire, Ste 135 in Bellaire.
