George Springer and Friends Hit Ball Out of the Park for SAY at 5th Annual George Springer All-Star Bowling Benefit

Proceeds raised more than $250,000 for SAY (The Stuttering Association for the Young)

Over 400 fans along with George Springer and his teammates in addition to local celebrities, Co-chairs, Lara Bell and Melissa DeAyala , Junior Chair Matthew DeAyala, and Honorary Chair Dr. Carolyn Farb, h.c. helped make the event possible at Bowlmor Houston.

Proceeds from the event will send children from families-in-need to Camp SAY, a two-week life-changing summer camp for young people who stutter, as well as support the Houston George Springer MVP Camp SAY this weekend, serving over 125 local kids who stutter.

Springer, a person who stutters, hosted the Bowling Benefit to provide financial assistance and ensure that children from all socio-economic backgrounds have access to Camp SAY.

Springer, the national spokesperson for Camp SAY, stepped up to the plate to voice his support for young people who stutter.

He began stuttering as a child and understands the challenges, so he welcomed the kids in attendance and all kids who stutter to join his team and to discover their own unique voice.
