Moody Gardens: Sea of Love: A Romantic Underwater Dining Experience 

The newly renovated Aquarium Pyramid makes a truly memorable backdrop for a Valentine’s dinner date on Saturday, Feb. 17.  With the three-course dinner, couples can reserve a table in one of five ocean exhibit areas: Gulf of Mexico, North Pacific, South Pacific, South Atlantic and the Caribbean. Sting rays, sharks, seals and sea lions, as well as several different species of fish all provide terrific ambiance.

The Sea of Love Valentine’s Dinner includes soup or salad, entrée choices of Prime Rib Eye Steak with Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, Filet of Chilean Seabass topped with Lump Crab Meat, or Pan Seared Tofu with Trio Beets and dessert for two of Chocolate Raspberry Opera Cake with Fresh Berries and Chef’s Irish Liqueur Whipped Cream. Guests can also choose between a bottle of champagne or wine.  Guests will receive a rose and one souvenir photo. Aquarium biologists will also be on hand for meet and greet opportunities. The Sea of Love Valentine’s Dinner packages start at $200 per couple, depending on seating preference. ARA Restaurant | Royal Sonesta: ARA—ARA Restaurant will be offering a trio of three-course prix fixe menus in addition to the regular a la carte menu on Valentine’s Day. Guests can select the Romantic Couples menu, featuring ricotta gnocchi gratin and spiced chocolate fondue; Friends With Benefits, which includes a Ménage à Trois dessert of crème brûlée, pot de crème and a fruit tart; or It’s Complicated, featuring clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops and foie gras. Pricing is $65 per person and includes a champagne toast.

Benjy’s is heating things up in the kitchen with a special Valentines Day menu designed to ignite your night with these menu highlights including: Oysters Rockefeller served with grilled gulf oysters, herbs, garlic panko, carmelized onion and seeded toast; Twice Cooked Duck served with mole negro, chocolate, crispy avocado, pepitas, pomegranate and queso fresco, Grilled Scottish Salmon served with rainbow quinoa, ginger citrus and market vegtables; and the all time benjy’s favorite Crunchy Chicken served with snow peas, sweet roasted potato, corn reduction and honey balsamic.

Damian’s : Damian’s Cucina Italiana is celebrating Valentine’s Day by serving a special three-course menu. The spread features four appetizers, four main entrees and three desserts and includes dishes such as cannelloni di carne, small pasta tubes stuffed with seasoned ground veal and baked in a tomato cream sauce; filetto veneto, 8oz. center-cut filet mignon grilled and drizzled with a Remy Martin cognac reduction, served with gorgonzola mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus; traditional tiramisu; and tuscan bread pudding served with Jack Daniel’s bourbon sauce. Pricing is 65.95 per person plus tax and gratuity.

FM Kitchen and Bar is kicking it up a notch for its first Valentine’s Day. Chef Ryan Hildebrand has created a “Picnic on the Patio” 3-course menu that includes four splits of champagne on ice (rose or brut), priced at $88 total per couple. For a special 30-oz. bone-in ribeye, add $28. Tom and Haley Lynch, lead singers of local Houston band VODI, will play a free acoustic set on the patio from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Reservations and pre-order required. Grimaldi’s: Not in a relationship this year, don’t fret–grab a friend and still make a night of it on Wednesday, February 14th at Grimaldi’s where they are offering a pairing of a Bruschetta Trio or a small Antipasto platter with a bottle of wine for $25. Guests can choose between either Kendall Jackson Avant Chardonnay (White) or 6th Sense Syrah (Red). This deal is available all evening. Valet available at CITYCENTRE location.

Le Colonial:  Enjoy a three-course dinner prepared by Culinary Director Nicole Routhier and Executive Chef Hassan Obaye. The $75 per person menu includes an amuse-bouche, appetizer, entree, festive dessert selection & coffee or tea. An a-la-carte dinner menu of your favorite menu items is also available.

 
Four Seasons Hotel Houston: Treat your sweetheart to an evening of romance at Quattro Restaurant with a delectable four-course menu. Guests can delight their palates with mouthwatering options such as seared diver scallops, foie gras & oven dried pineapple terrine, caviar-carbonara, seared branzino and chocolate & cherry tartufo with optional wine pairing for $60.

Helen Greek Food and Wine & Helen in the Heights: Both locations are offering a four-course menu for Valentine’s Day. The price is set at $75 per person with an optional wine pairing for $40.  It will be a plated meal (not family style) and both locations will be taking reservations by phone or in the restaurant for that day. 

Hotel Granduca: Hotel Granduca’s Ristorante Cavour will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special 4-course prix fixe menu. The cost is $95 per person and includes dishes such as Truffle Risotto, Lobster Gnocchi, Chardonnay Poached Lobster & Scallops, Beef Fillet Oscar with Grilled Asparagus, and Mango Panna Cotta with Madagascar Vanilla Bean Sauce. The menu will be available for dinner only. 
 
Raven Tower: Drop by Raven Tower in Valentine’s Day and order up a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martini.  Vodka, creme de cacao, (house made) strawberry syrup garnished with (house made) chocolate covered strawberries. They will also be serving up a “cheap date” special – any pitcher of craft beer with 2 glasses $14. (limit 1 per person).
Roka Akor: Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Roka Akor with a special four-course tasting menu. The evening will tip off with a complimentary glass of champagne followed by a selection of signature appetizers, sashimi, classic robata dishes, and decadent desserts . A limited a la carte menu will be available as well. The menu is priced at $108 per person, and will be available on February 14 from 5 PM – 11 PM.  
State of Grace:  Impress your date with a four-course Valentine’s Day menu at State of Grace. Guests will start the evening out with Biscuits and Ham and Jam, with an optional caviar add on for $95. Menu highlights include tuna Carpaccio, hearth roasted bone marrow with a foie gras terrine and smoked onion marmalade, Berkshire pork cheeks with a Huitlacoche tamale and blistered shishito peppers, Petit Filet Mignon with butter poached lobster, and a Raspberry Pink Velvet Cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. The menu is available on February 14 for $85 per person. 

Lucienne: Executive Chef Jose Hernandez has crafted a festive three-course dinner menu – featuring his and hers desserts – perfect to indulge in on this holiday, Wednesday, February 14, from 5:30pm until 10:30pm. Dinner is $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity and reservations are required.  

Radio Milano | Milano Bar:  Radio Milano is exclusively serving a five-course dinner menu with optional wine pairings on Valentine’s Day from 5pm until 9pm. Menu highlights include fried oyster nacho, foie gras torchon, ahi tuna tartare and rose water red velvet cake. Pricing is $65 per person or $90 with wine pairings. The Valentine’s Day menu will also be available through Saturday, February 17th alongside the regular a-la-carte menu.

Milano Bar is offering a special surf and turf themed menu featuring sparkling cocktails and champagne pairings on Valentine’s Day from 4pm until 10pm. Dinner is $35 per person or $60 with beverage pairings. Guests who have tickets for the 50 Shades Freed movie at Studio Movie Grill will receive 20% off their check, excluding alcohol. Treebeards:  No flowers? No candy? No problem! If you are looking for something made with love this year look no further than the classic Houston eatery, Treebeards. This Valentine’s Day Treebeards is offering up their 9’ round red velvet layer cake (red velvet two-layer cake, white icing) with a pink sugar heart on top for $37. All Treebeards locations will also be selling Valentine’s Day inspired cookies for $1.75 so treat yourself AND your loved ones to some sugar.
