SPA at the J Dance Master Class Series starts up in January at Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center

World-renowned dancers, choreographers and teaching artists from all over the globe are coming directly to Houston as part of the 50th anniversary season and tradition of “bringing the world’s best to Houston.” Society for the Performing Arts (SPA) in partnership with the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center presents a series of innovative dance master classes starting in January and continuing throughout the spring.

Classes are open to the public for intermediate dancers and up. Appropriate dance attire is required. Classes will be held at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston at 5601 S. Braeswood in Houston.

Pilobolus on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 7:30-9 PM

Pilobolus is an internationally acclaimed collective, renowned for its unique, diverse collaborations that ignore preconceived barriers between creative disciplines.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 7:30-9 PM

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet shares its bold vision to the world, with top choreographers, a distinctive and groundbreaking repertoire, and virtuoso dancers, fostering a jewel of a dance company that’s centered in the American West.
