Shop ‘Til You Drop: Houston Junior Forum Hosts Fifth Annual “The City Market” on April 9-10, 2026
Proceeds go toward numerous programs helping the community
This highly anticipated curated market is set to take place at Silver Street Studios on April 9-10, 2026, offering an appealing array of local vendors and a fun guilt-free shopping experience with all proceeds going to HJF’s College Scholarship Program, Community Grants Program, and their newest program, Daily Essentials – Everyday Confidence.

“Leading as the President of the Houston Junior Forum and spearheading the organization of The City Market has been truly rewarding,” said Sharon Cook, President of HJF, a women-organized nonprofit committed to providing charitable service for children, women and senior adults in the greater Houston area. “Witnessing the Houston community coming together in support of small businesses is not only fulfilling but also a testament to the power of unity and collaboration.”

Since its inception in 2021, The City Market has evolved into a source of empowerment for the Houston Junior Forum. By raising funds through this event, the organization contributes to the overall well-being of the Houston community through strategic philanthropy.
The dynamic space at Silver Street Studios serves as the ideal backdrop for a marketplace celebrating creativity, community and local businesses. With an impressive lineup of 65+ vendors, including Elizabeth Cole Design, The Hidden Trunk, Be Sweet Ink, and Bizzy Lizzy Boutique, attendees will have numerous opportunities to support this meaningful cause.
