Chef Levi Goode to Host Texas Independence Day Celebration at Armadillo Palace on Sunday, March 1, 2026
Celebrate 190 Years of Texas and the Start of the Rodeo season with Texas-Inspired Fare, Cocktails, Live Music and More
Goode Company and Levi Goode Brands invites guests to join them for a Texas Independence Day Celebration – an event honoring 190 years of the Lone Star State. Since its founding in 1977, nearly 50 years ago, Goode Company has been dedicated to celebrating Texas culinary traditions. This special event is a way to honor and celebrate the bounty that Texas offers.

The celebration will feature dishes inspired by the unique flavors of Texas, including, but not limited to:
- Ancho Glazed Pork Ribs
- Spit Jack Roasted Ribeyes
- Barbacoa Quesadillas
The specialty menu will celebrate authentic Texas culture, community and cuisine. Guests can also expect specialty hand-crafted cocktails made with Texas spirits, like:

- West Texas Ranch Water – Marfa Spirit Co. Sotol, Lime, Citrus Oleo, Topo Chico
- Edwards Aquifer – Still Austin Gin, Lemon, Strawberry, Cucumber, Guava Hibiscus Tepache
- Double Brisket, Please – Brisket Fat-Washed Still Austin Bourbon, Steen’s Cane Syrup, Angostura Bitters
The beverage menu will also feature a selection of Texas wines and beers.
Beloved Texas-based country band, The Broken Spokes, will provide live acoustic accompaniment to the evening’s festivities.

Tickets are $75 (+ tax) and include entry to the event, live music, a chef-driven selection of Texas fare and two cocktails – all to celebrate the Lone Star State. Tickets for the event can be purchased HERE.
