New Year’s Eve in Houston Has Dinners, Live Music, and Experiences Throughout City to Choose From

Bari Ristorante: CIRQUE DU BARI–The lawn located to the side of the restaurant will be brimming with decor, stilt walkers dressed in circus themed attire, and plenty of fun photo opportunities. Event highlights include Champagne toast at midnight, DJ till 2 a.m., Dress-to-join-the-circus theme and Two dinner seatings at 7–7:30 p.m. and 9:30–10 p.m.
Blue Claw: Blue Claw will offer a special tasting menu with a DJ for the evening to help ring in the New Year. Blue Claw will host two early countdowns for families with kids at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Doc’s Houston: Doc’s sets the stage with back-to-back jazz performances led by Tianna Hall and The Houston Jazz Band at 7 PM and 10 PM. Alongside the music, guests can enjoy a festive four-course prix fixe menu. For the main course, diners can choose from stuffed pork tenderloin with confit fingerlings and collards, a 6 oz. Black Angus filet with broccolini and roasted garlic potato purée, classic coq au vin, or seared halibut with orange beurre blanc and a lentil–herb salad. Guard & Grace: An elevated menu to close out the year, including highlights such as Steamed Crab & Lobster Wonton, Slow Smoked Texas Bone-In Beef Short Rib with black garlic glaze and parsnip purée, and returning favorites like the Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut, Dry Aged Duck Breast, and Bluefin Tuna Tataki. JW Marriott Houston Downtown: Guests can begin the night with refined starters like Short Rib Ravioli in brown butter and chive oil or Seared Diver Scallops paired with a duo of cauliflower and roasted garlic–spinach sauce. Entrées offer a choice of celebratory standouts, including Chili-Glazed Salmon with coconut-scallion jasmine rice, Black Truffle & Mushroom Risotto, or a classic Beef Tenderloin finished with truffle-infused bordelaise. Meow Wolf Houston: On December 31 from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., the exhibition transforms into a nighttime experience shaped by Houston DJs, shifting soundscapes, and a countdown woven through channels of Radio Tave. Guests are invited to explore the worlds of Meow Wolf Houston after hours while moving between distinct musical zones throughout the night. Tickets are currently for sale for a limited time. Guests are welcome to dress in futuristic fashion or bold New Year’s attire. Pier 6: Champagne Coast Countdown Party–Executive Chef Joe Cervantez will feature a special menu alongside the restaurant’s signature seafood fare, with a mobile caviar cart circulating throughout the evening. VIP bottle service and seafood tower packages will be available for those looking to indulge. As the night progresses, a DJ takes over from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., with dancing, drink specials, a midnight Champagne toast, balloon drop, and confetti cannons to welcome the new year with a bang.
