The Goal Park Foundation hosted an exclusive Bruncheon & Press Conference at the Houston Dynamo HQ on February 21st, 2025, which unveiled a transformative vision for Goal Park, a world-class sports, nature and festive attraction and linear park. This project will celebrate the identity of EaDo and seeks to elevate Houston’s status as a premier sports hub ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Attendees gained exclusive insights into how Goal Park will drive economic growth, tourism, and business opportunities while serving as a key attraction in Houston’s preparation for the FIFA World Cup. The event also featured major announcements from key stakeholders, further igniting excitement around the project’s development.

Goal Park is a bold initiative integrating sports, fitness and entertainment, with community green spaces and nature to create lasting economic and cultural impact. With Houston gearing up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the project is set to play a vital role in positioning the city as a global sports destination.

Nicholas Kosmas added, “Goal Park is an innovative, urban linear park designed to enhance seven blocks through safe active green spaces, ecological design, and art and culture.”
