Tristan Hamm, “Mr. Adventure,” Ready for Upcoming Match Against Le’Veon Bell, Former NFL Steelers Legend, at Misfits Boxing 15 at NRG Arena on May 25th

Tristan Hamm recently made waves in January 2024 in the boxing ring with a viral Rodney Peterson (Not Logan Paul) knockout at Misfits Boxing 12 in only 00:00:52 into the fight. His upcoming bout against Le’Veon Bell is generating significant buzz as the celebrity boxing industry has never seen an Outdoorsman in the space, who is facing one of the toughest opponents yet.

Hamm’s gift for boxing is being noticed by professionals as he is:

  • Training under BJ Flores, who coached Jake Paul. Tristan has similar goals as Jake Paul and picked BJ.
  • Training under Pedro Diaz, who has 21 World Titles
  • Sparring with partner Noel Mikaelian, the current WBC cruiserweight world champion

1. Please share how you got into this profession: I was approached by a couple members of Jake Paul’s team about a year ago. They looked at my boxing clips and asked if I’d ever be interested in pursuing boxing. At the time, I wasn’t interested, but recently something changed in me. I felt like the time was right. I had a number of offers on the table from various promotions, and I decided to sign with Misfits as they put on incredible shows and are going to become massive with their deal with DAZN.

2. I know you have a diversified background. Can you maybe talk about whether that gave you any edge on what you do in the ring? I grew up building oil pipelines in Canada, I have native blood, hard work and that warrior spirit is instilled inside my blood, so it makes me a natural when it comes to fighting. But above that, my ability to pair that with a quality team and a good set of eyes and ears to learn is what really brings me that edge. I have the best team anyone could ever ask for. BJ Flores (built Jake Paul) and Pedro Diaz (built 21 boxing world champions and an Olympic gold mentalist coach ).

3. Your success is phenomenal and is thriving. Is/Are there any person(s) you’d like to talk about that has influenced you or guided you thus far? Of course! The list is so large from my grandfather to now hunters like Cameron Hanes, icons like Mike Tyson, my beautiful and incredibly talented girlfriend Stefi Cohen. These are all people that have made major impact in my life to help carve me into who I am today and know that I am only getting started.

4. This year has barely started, and you’re on fire! What do you see for yourself for the rest of 2024? I plan to have 2-3 fights this year including this one this weekend. I’m an outdoorsman so my motto is 1 adventure / day. The adventures are a bit smaller now that I’m training so rigorously but as soon as this fight is over I’m headed back home to Whitehorse Yukon to spend time with my family and help prepare for the harvest for the winter. I’ll be training out there in the mountains with my brother, gathering firewood and helping to hunt meat for the season. It’s pretty old school up where I’m from, we still do everything by hand up there but my family really prides themselves for doing everything by hand as tradition.

5. Plans past this year? My goal over the next 3-5 years is to take boxing as far as i possibly can. I’m starting late and I’ll have to take on a few hard blows to pay for the late start but that’s what this test is this weekend. It’s really gonna be the deciding factor of if I belong. If the fight goes how I want it to, I’ll be here for a while in this sport without question.
