Messina Hof’s 40th Annual Wine & Roses Festival Set for April 26-28 in Bryan, Texas

Delight in a spring night spent under twinkling lights with an evening of Vineyard Cuisine, new wine releases, and Texas art. During the evening, guests can view the finalist artwork for the 34th Annual Texas Artist Wine Label Competition and bid on the amazing items in the Silent Auction. All auction proceeds will go to the Arts Council of Brazos Valley. For the first time ever, this wine release dinner will be held in the new Estate Barrel House on Friday, April 26th from 7-10 p.m. Tickets available HERE.

Bring your team to battle in the famous Wine & Roses Grape Stomp Competition! Perfect the art of the stomp and enter your team of 2-4 people take part in this crowd-pleasing tradition. Saturday, April 27th from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Take a journey through the world of food and wine with Karen Bonarrigo. Guests can enjoy a curated selection of Messina Hof’s most award-winning wines paired with delicious, artisanal foods. (*This event is only available with the Foodie Package.) Saturday, April 27th; Two sessions available at 12:30 and 4:30 p.m.

Winemaker and owner, Paul M. Bonarrigo, invites wine lovers to explore the Cellar Room and partake in a special barrel to bottle tasting of four wines. (*Passes for this experience are sold separately – limited availability.) Saturday, April 27th; Two sessions available at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Visit the Vintage House Restaurant for a buffet-style come-and-go dinner featuring a selection of fine Italian cuisine. (*This event is included with the Foodie Package. Add-on passes are available.) Saturday, April 27th, available from 12 to 5 p.m.

Furry friends are invited to the Waggles & Wine event to enjoy Chef-made treats while paw-rents can enjoy the full selection of award-winning wines and slushies to help keep them cool. Sunday, April 28th

Festival attendees can participate in voting at the Texas Artist Wine Label Competition. Artists from across the state compete annually for a chance to have their art featured on a future Messina Hof label. Each artist entry fee is donated to the Arts Council of Brazos Valley to fund local programs that further young artists’ passion and careers. Voting will take place in the Estate Barrel House all weekend.

Local vendors and artisans will be showcasing their artistic creations all weekend and invite festival attendees to sip, shop and support local. For those interested in being a vendor, visit the Messina Hof website.
