In its 15th year, the wildly popular event will be held on Saturday, May 6 from 10 am to 4 pm at Bridgeland’s Oak Meadow Park and is open to the public.

Headlining this year’s Nature Fest is Jeff Musial, a nationally renowned wildlife expert and TV personality whose appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show and Animal Planet have made him a household name in the animal world.

Since its inception in 2008, Nature Fest has welcomed thousands of families across Greater Houston for a day of educational, family-friendly fun. In between main stage performances by Jeff Musial, eventgoers will enjoy educational programming from Texas Snakes, Crocodile Encounter, Wildlife Revealed and Jungle Jack’s Magic Show.

Other activities include pony rides, a petting zoo, kids’ inflatable zone, nature-themed exhibitors, outdoor laser tag, face painting, kids’ craft area, and balloon artists. Nearly 20 food trucks and vendors will be on-site. Admission is free, though a few activities will require a small fee. All proceeds will benefit Cy-Hope, whose mission is to provide hope and opportunity for every child in the Cy-Fair area.

Jeff Musial’s passion for wildlife quickly evolved from his childhood hobby of catching garter snakes and frogs to working in a pet shop, studying zoology in college, and subsequently, opening his own animal sanctuary, Nickel City Reptiles and Exotics. Through Nickel City Reptiles and Exotics, Jeff Musial has rescued thousands of rare and exotic animals. His breadth of knowledge coupled with his vibrant personality have positioned him as a national leader in wildlife education with a resume that includes guest spots on day- and night-time TV shows.
