ARNALDO RICHARDS’ PICOS CELEBRATES ANNUAL 12 DAYS OF MOLE EVENT IN ITS STAPLE HOLIDAY TRADITION: For the seventh year, Picos pays tribute to Mexican tradition with its 12 Days of Mole holiday celebration showcasing a new mole every day over a twelve-day period.

The tailored menu developed by Picos’ acclaimed chefs features popular house-made moles served every day at the restaurant, including Mole Coloradito and Mole Poblano, in addition to moles rarely seen in Houston such as Mole Novia and Mole Rosa. Each mole is crafted with love, attention to detail, respect for tradition and ample flavor. The exciting annual event ends on day twelve with the Mole & Tamalada Brunch, offering all twelve moles in addition to a wide variety of Picos’ signature scratch-made tamales.

The Original Ninfa’s (UPTOWN and NAVIGATION): The Original Ninfa’s is treating Houston to their one-of-a-kind tamales this holiday season. Handmade by Maria Chavez who is celebrating 25 years at The Original Ninfa’s, Ninfa’s is offering Carnitas con Chile Verde (traditional slow roasted carnitas with a tomatillo sauce) for $24/dozen, Rajas con Queso (thin strips of nopales, poblano peppers, onions with queso panela) for $20/dozen, and Mermelada de Piña y Coco (pineapple stewed down with piloncillo, warm spices, and Kahlúa) for $20/dozen. HOLIDAY PACKAGE TO GO & CHRISTMAS EVE BRUNCH AT MAX’S WINE DIVE–MAX’s Wine Dive will bring the warmth and energy to the city of Houston with a holiday package available to-go and a Christmas Eve brunch from 11A-5P.
