Host a Fabulous Super Bowl Party with Recipes, Catering and the Right Tools

GETTING THE PARTY STARTED WITH A LITTLE LOCAL HELP!

Kroger Houston shares tips on how to minimize game-day stress by breaking down Super Bowl party tasks into manageable chunks

Thursday: Three days prior, finalize the menu and grocery list and complete your shopping! Today is the day to get everything you need for your party, from food and beverages to decorations. To avoid the stress, shop early. Shopping early is the best option before an event like the Super Bowl. Your menu can include various chips, dip, soda and of course beer! Don’t forget you can schedule home delivery or pick up to make things even easier.

Friday: Two days prior, mow the lawn and wipe down outdoor tables and chairs. If you plan to utilize your garage for the party, do some de-cluttering in this area too. Put those cleaning supplies to good use.  (visual – more cleaning supplies).

Saturday:  The day before your Super Bowl party, prep all the food you can. Chop your veggies, portion out your dips, and cook whatever doesn’t need to be served hot. Also rearrange any furniture if needed to maximize space and game-viewing options. You will also want to take out needed cooking supplies like crock pots and bottle and wine openers.

Super Bowl Sunday: On game day, all you’ll have to do is cook or heat up a few dishes and set out the drinks and appetizers you’ve already prepared and put out your decorations. Now you can enjoy yourself!
