Mothers will eat FREE on Mother’s Day at ARA at Royal Sonesta Houston. Enjoy one of two delicious entrée options – Prime Rib or Salmon! For the rest of the family out celebrating mom the price is $29; upgrade to a 3-course meal for an additional $10.

In honor of Mother’s Day, Bosscat will offer its popular “Boss Lady” cocktail for only $8. The River Oaks hotspot will be open beginning at 11 a.m. for brunch with its signature Fruity Pebbles French Toast and Mimosa Carafes, with dinner service available from 5-9 p.m.


Enjoy a Mother’s Day Brunch in an bright, airy Mediteranean-esque scene at Fig & Olive Tasting Kitchen and Bar. For Mother’s Day, the restaurant is offering a $48 Pre-Fixe menu as well as a limited a la carte and kids menu. You can dine inside or al fresco in the new Rosé Terrace. Signature brunch dishes include the: Avocado & Quail Egg Toast and Poached Egg Byaldi.

There will be a jazz band and a couple of refreshing featured cocktails. Last, but not least, there is a Mimosa and Bellini Service.

Brunch on the Green at The Grove


The Grove hosts Brunch on the Green this Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12 with live music from The Kinder HSPVA. Enjoy savory brunch favorites, a build-your-own breakfast taco bar, meat-carving stations, and house-made pastries and desserts. Specialty cocktails including mimosas, sangria and mojitos are available for $15 with one cent refills. Brunch is $35 per person, $15 for children aged 2-12.


Celebrate and honor the special person in your life with an amazing Mother’s Day Brunch! She will always remember the memories made at Lucienne and the delicious menu prepared by executive chef Jose Hernandez. $75 per person (plus tax and service) between 11am – 3pm.


Mastrantos will offer a special Mother’s Day brunch menu with reservations available at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Highlights include a Pastry Board featuring three daily pastries with house jam; Ohh my Arepas, Heights Sunrise, Ancho Flank Bowl and Wake-up in Tijuana.

 In addition to its regular wine menu, Mimosas, Sangria and a Prosseco-based Passion Fruit Serrano Mint Spritzer will be offered.   Reservations recommended. Walk-ins will be permitted based on availability.


The Original Ninfa’s will offer a special Chef’s Menu for Mother’s Day weekend from Dia De Las Madres on May 10 through Mother’s Day on May 12. Choose between Redfish Filet with Veggies and Chipotle Guajillo Sauce or Filet Mignon with Potato Galette, Sauteed Spinach and Mushroom Sauce. The Original Ninfa’s also will offer a Strawberry Hibiscus Rum Smash Cocktail for $12.

Arnaldo Richards’ Mexican restaurant will be hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch with traditional favorites like a carving station featuring Arnaldo’s Tres Chiles Roasted Prime Rib and Baby Back Rib Carnitas. Ham, Oysters on the Half Shell, Gulf shrimp and a charcuterie station will join Snapper, assorted moles, ceviches, and a 30 foot dessert bar for a truly spectacular Mother’s Day feast. $45 per adult, $29 per senior (65+), $18 per child (6-12). Mother’s Day Brunch – opens at 10am; last seating at 2:30pm. They will serve up a delicious Mother’s Day Sunday brunch for $40 for adults (12 and over), $20 for 6 – 11 year olds and free for 6 and under. Enjoy everything from their pasta and carving station to their breakfast soup and salad station – something for the entire family to enjoy.


Roka Akor will have a very special, four-course menu designed to celebrate Mom featuring favorites like Toro Tartare and Snake River Farms Wagyu Filet. Mother’s Day Brunch will be served between 11:00 am and 3:30 pm, with the a la carte menu available through closing at 11:00 pm. Reservations recommended.


The Union Kitchen will offer a special menu for both brunch and dinner prepared by Executive Chef James Lundy at each of its five locations. The brunch menu includes highlights like crispy crab deviled eggs, shrimp and crab dip, prime rib and eggs, seafood crepes to finish with butter cream carrot cake or cinnamon churro waffle.


On Mother’s Day only, Yauatcha will be offering a specialty dessert: Strawberries and Cream Delice for $12 plated in the restaurant and $8 to go at our retail. It is made with Vanilla rose mousse, strawberry filling, almond sponge cake with vanilla ice cream. You can also order the large version for $50. Perfect end to a delicious dim sum meal!
