Urban Eats: Urban Eats will be celebrating the Christmas and New Year’s holidays with Brunch and Drink Specials, including $10 Carafe’s and $3 Mimosa, Bellini, Blackberry, Mango and Ginger Champagne Spritzers, and $5 Bloody Marys and Micheladas. On Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24th, Sunday Brunch will be served from 10am-3pm. Closed on Christmas Day. On New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31, Sunday Brunch will be served from 10am -2pm. Closed New Year’s Day.
Tony Mandola’s Gulf Coast Kitchen: Tony Mandola’s Gulf Coast Kitchen will be open on Sunday, December 24th, serving its regular Sunday Brunch Menu from 10 am until 3 pm, and it’s regular dinner menu from 3 pm until 8 pm. Goode Company Barbeque: Goode Company will have it’s annual drive through booths set up outside of all its BBQ locations (Katy Drive, Katy Freeway, Northwest Freeway, and Six Pines Drive) December 23 & 24 from 8 AM to 5 PM. Customers can buy Smoked Whole Turkeys (preorder), Goode Company Chocolate Pies, and Brazos Bottoms Pecan Pies.
Arnaldo Richards’ Picos: Happening right now – 12 Days of Mole. Picos is featuring a different mole and dish each evening. On Sunday, December 17, Picos will go all out with its Massive Mole and Tamale Brunch Buffet, featuring every mole from the course of the 12 days. Brunch will be served from 10 AM – 4 PM and is $32/person.
Drive up tamale stand is also open in the restaurant’s parking lot on the corner of Richmond and Kirby. The Tamale Stand will be open every day from 11 AM to 7 PM through January 6, excluding Christmas Day. Four Seasons Hotel Houston: This weekend!! Hosting Gingerbread themed afternoon tea on December 16, and 23 between 12 – 4 PM; $64 for Adults; $45 for Children; Children under 5 are free. There will also be Christmas Caroler, and Arts & Crafts like decorating ornaments, cupcakes and gingerbread houses.
Helen Greek Food & Wine: Helen Greek Food and Wine will continue Wine Bar Mondays every Monday in December. Guests can also make their own wine baskets (pick 3) and Helen will wrap them — they make for the perfect holiday gift for the person who has everything.
Helen in the Heights: Helen in the Heights will launch brunch just in time for the holidays featuring standout dishes, including Sourdough Grits with wild gulf shrimp; Hand Packed Gyro with Black Hill pork, pita, tomato, red onion, tzatziki, egg and fries; Kataifi Benedict; Greens & Cheese Pie; and Semolina Pancakes with spiced honey syrup, toasted almonds, Greek yogurt and whipped cream. Other fan favorites will also dot the menu, such as the Citrus & Fennel Salad and Trio of Dips.
Holiday Children’s Tea at Hotel Granduca: Kick off the Christmas season with the entire family at Hotel Granduca’s Holiday Children’s Tea. The annual event, which takes place Sunday, December 17 from 3 to 5 pm in Ristorante Cavour, features a festive riff on the hotel’s signature tea service with special tea menus for both children ($29) and adults ($59). Raven Tower: Raven Tower, in conjunction with Blue Line Bike Labs and Cycler’s Brewing, presents the Inaugural Holiday Bicycle Extravaganza! Friday, December 15, from 6 pm to midnight! Admission and participation is free, and the event will include bike contests, prizes, merchandise, and a movie screening of the film Quicksilver.
White Oak Music Hall: There are still three days left to get music lovers in the holiday spirit with White Oak Music Hall’s 12 Days of Tickets, the concert venue’s take on 12 Days of Christmas. The giveaway campaign is taking place on Instagram, and fans can still win tickets for music acts like Lights, Eden, K.Flay, and Echosmith.
Roka Akor: Roka Akor is tackling its first holiday season by putting a Japanese twist on on Christmas Eve. Celebrate the day before Christmas by indulging in Roka Akor’s five-course tasting menu ($95 per person), which features everything from Robata Grilled Pork Belly with Tarragon Miso to Japanese Mushroom Rice Hot Pot with Shaved Black Truffle and Grilled Bone Marrow with Spicy Garlic Soy.
Hotel Granduca : Hotel Granduca’s annual holiday brunch is back. The extravagant buffet — priced at $75 per person (adults) and $25 per child — will showcase nearly 10 fully-stocked buffet stations including an array of salads, smoked seafood, breakfast favorites, carving stations, children’s treats, and decadent desserts.
LePeep Restaurant: This holiday season will be the first for LePeep to serve alcohol after 30 years in Houston (Galleria-area location only, 4340 Westheimer). Drink offerings include house specialty Bloody Marys, mimosas, Bellinis, local craft beers and wines.
