Caffvino Arrives in the Heights to Welcome Guests Both Morning and Night

Caffvino, a brand-new establishment blending coffee, wine and beer with a rotating dessert selection, opened in the heart of the Heights.

Located at 1030 Heights Blvd, near the intersection of 11th street, Caffvino is in the very heart of the neighborhood with the beautiful Heights Boulevard walking trail just outside the door.

Chuck Russell and Andy Adams, seasoned hospitality veterans with former hot Solero, Farrago,7 Lounge, The Corkscrew Wine Bar, Washington Avenue Drinkery and Hungry like the Wolf 80’s Diner as their past enterprises, are excited about welcoming the community to this cozy relaxing space.

“Chuck and I have been friends for almost 40 years,” said Adams. “We agreed we wanted to create a social spot where people can mingle, and hopefully create their own friendships while bonding over all the most important things coffee, wine and dessert.”

When creating the menu and vibe, Caffvino wanted to focus on staying close to home with business partners. Their menu will feature coffee drinks prepared using local good guys Cruiser Coffee, while the bar will serve wines from small family-owned distributors and local beers.

Additionally, the gelato selections, morning pastries, and desserts are sourced from neighborhood partners. Local artist and Hardy and Nance Studio Director, Claire Richards, was tapped to coordinate the art on the walls. With their Family history going back over 110 years in the Heights, Caffvino’s goal is to work with our neighbors and friends.

Adams continued, “Chuck and I both have a long history with the neighborhood and being able to open a spot and see nothing but a lifetime of memories all around you how fine is that?”

While all ages are welcome throughout the day, (with Caffvino opening mornings at 7am, 7 days a week), evenings after 6 p.m. will be set aside for a time for the 18+ crowd so they can enjoy beverages and desserts in an adult-only setting.

“We obviously love kids, we were kids ourselves once, we just want to give adults in the neighborhood just a few hours to themselves in the evening” Adams stated.
