El Bolillo Bakery Gives Back with Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, August 9
El Bolillo Bakery is helping Houston’s students head back to school with something sweet — and something essential.
On Saturday, August 9, all El Bolillo Bakery locations will distribute backpacks, each filled with pan dulce, pencils, and notebooks, to help local elementary students (grades Pre-K through Fifth) start the school year on a positive note.
The giveaway will run from 10 AM to 2 PM and will be first-come, first-served for each student present. Once all backpacks are distributed, El Bolillo Bakery will continue spreading joy by offering pencil bags filled with school supplies, birthday pan dulce certificates, and a sweet treat, while supplies last.
“As a local bakery rooted in tradition and community, we cherish the children and families who have supported us over the years,” said Andrew Miller, Chief Operations Officer of El Bolillo Bakery. “This giveaway is a small token of our appreciation and a way to wish every student a joyful, confident start to the school year.”
