The Women’s Fund for Health Education and Resiliency’s ROC for H.E.R Young Professionals to Host Merry & Bright on December 5th, 2021

A holiday happy hour and Christmas light bus tour on Sunday, December 5, 2021

 The Women’s Fund for Health Education and Resiliency’s ROC for H.E.R, a coed young professional’s organization in support for providing Houston-area women and girls with the tools needed to be advocates for their health, is hosting the annual Merry & Bright happy hour and Christmas light bus tour on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 5 – 8 p.m. 

Guests are invited to wear their coziest or festive holiday attire and enjoy beer, wine and light bites at Christo Mio before departing for a holiday lights tour around River Oaks. For $50 for one or $85 for two, participants will enjoy beer and wine throughout the evening along with a tour of lights on an open-air bus. For a $10 suggested donation, guests can join the reception only at Christo Mio. Tickets and seating on the open-air bus are limited and guests must be 21+ to participate. 

Guests will also learn about The Women’s Fund’s ROC for H.E.R. membership program. Members receive invitations to all events, educational seminars and webinars, e-newsletter subscriptions, access to The Women’s Fund’s electronic membership directory, and special pricing for future member events.

As a member, supporters can ensure that The Women’s Fund continues to promote resiliency, outreach and community to adolescent girls and women in the Greater Houston area by making a gift at $15 for a student membership, $40 for individual young professional membership, or $65 for a couples’ membership. For 42 years, The Women’s Fund has educated girls and women in the Houston area through classes, workshops, lectures and publications that teach resiliency skills and relate those skills to current and future health risks.
