Bell’s Brewery pours into Houston and San Antonio with events from March 6-10
Texas beer enthusiasts get ready as Bell’s Brewery partners with Silver Eagle Distributors to bring award-winning Michigan beer brand to Houston and San Antonio in early March
Fans and inquisitive sippers alike can meet the crew from Bell’s Brewery at celebrations kicking off March 6-10 in the Houston and San Antonio metro areas. For the full schedule of events, visit Silver Eagle Distributor’s events page.
The over 30-year-old and 100 percent family-owned brewery, Bell’s – ranked 7th largest craft brewery in the nation according to the Brewers Association – will enter the Texas market with a lineup of year round and seasonal brews, as well as debut a beer crafted specifically for the occasion: Am I Right or Amarillo, an American IPA.
“Bell’s dedication to brewing flavorful and unique ales and lagers has made them a favorite among beer enthusiasts everywhere,” says John L. Nau, III, chairman and CEO, Silver Eagle Distributors. “All of us at Silver Eagle are excited to bring the brewery’s robust line-up to our friends in Houston and San Antonio. Bell’s has done a tremendous job making a name for themselves among the craft beer community and beyond, and we have no doubt their arrival into Houston and San Antonio will be met with a warm and friendly Texas welcome!”
It’s no secret that a warm climate like Texas is conducive to beer drinking, so Bell’s has lassoed up its most thirst-quenching year-round and seasonal beverages to bring to Texas, including:
- Amber Ale – American Amber Ale
- Kalamazoo Stout – American Stout
- Lager of the Lakes – Bohemian Pilsner
- Oarsman Ale – Tart Wheat Ale
- Oatsmobile Ale – American Pale Ale Brewed with Oats
- Porter – Robust Porter
- Third Coast Beer – Pale Ale
- Two Hearted Ale – American IPA
- Oberon Ale – American Wheat Ale (Seasonal Mar-Aug)
- Best Brown Ale – American Brown Ale (Seasonal Sept-Oct)
- Winter White Ale – Belgian Inspired Wheat Ale (Seasonal Nov-Jan)
Texan’s can also take pride in the fact that the specially crafted Am I Right or Amarillo marks the first time Bell’s has produced a beer specifically for a new state launch. Brewed entirely with Amarillo hops, the American IPA has bold aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, balanced with a firm malt backbone. The one-off batch of the hoppy brew is primarily going into 12 oz. six-packs, but will also be available on draft at a select number of locations.
“The response we’ve had on launching in Texas has been incredible. So many kind words from fans in Texas and from Michigan transplants, even those from Kalamazoo. We cannot wait to have a beer with everyone in person, make new friends and reconnect,” said Laura Bell, CEO of Bell’s Brewery.
The Bell’s Brewery varieties will be available at select grocery, convenience, liquor stores, and local bars and restaurants beginning the first week of March. For more information on availability, visit Bell’s Beer Finder, or Silver Eagle Distributor’s Beer Locator.
