Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park Presents Art, Kid Zone and More

Weekend event to be held March 29-31 at Memorial Park

As one of the nation’s premier outdoor fine art events, Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park will provide guests with the opportunity to personally meet artists, view original works, and purchase world-class art.

The three-day festival will feature live music, local food vendors and food trucks, beverages, entertainment, and much more. An exhibition of student artwork composed of the top 30 finalists from the Middle School Art Competition will also be featured at Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park.

This year’s featured artist Julio C. Garcia is a 2D Mixed Media artist from Jacksonville, FL. Garcia’s paintings come from deep within when he was a young boy living in Mexico.

Growing up in touch with nature and a quest to express it, Garcia painted every time he had a chance. His artwork is an invitation to travel and a journey through his experiences.
