Kline created the Snowdrop Foundation in honor of a young girl named Chelsey Campbell, who lost her battle to cancer in 2006. His goal is to keep Chelsey’s legacy alive by raising money for Texas Children’s Cancer Center.

The Foundation funding supports the center’s cutting-edge work in pediatric cancer research, provides twice annual weekend excursions for patients, and awards college scholarships to pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors. Kline is currently the president and founder of the Snowdrop Foundation. See the YouTube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm9ODkvK3Ok.

In 2005, Kline met Chelsey Campbell, who was not expected to live to see her 16th birthday, but she defied the odds and celebrated her birthday on June 11, 2006. This was the beginning of Kline’s journey #ForChelsey.

In 2006, then 15-year-old Chelsey Campbell, a stage 4 undifferentiated sarcoma cancer patient, underwent a record setting 27-hour surgery at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Kline decided to honor her and illustrate her strength by running his first marathon in January, 2007.

Ultra-endurance running continues to be his fundraising and awareness vehicle across the country and globe, having now run over 150 marathons or longer distance races in 36 of our 50 states and on 4 of the 7 continents.

Despite her grave situation, “Chelsey was always smiling and doing what she could to spread happiness. She told anyone who entered her hospital room that he or she had to be smiling,” Kline said.

Encouraged by Chelsey’s strong spirit and zest for life, Kline created Snowdrop Foundation and began using his athletic gifts to run marathons, his current count over 150 runs, to raise money for childhood cancer patients and survivors of childhood cancer.

#ForChelsey has become a movement, spearheaded by Kline with support from one of his sponsoring brands, evamor Naturally Alkaline Artesian Water (www.evamor.com ), which benefits Snowdrop Foundation while working to further Chelsey’s legacy and inspiring others to do good in her name.

This goal is to keep Chelsey’s legacy alive.

Encouraging donations and acts of kindness for the #ForChelsey campaign gained support from evamor Water as they recently launched their social media campaign asking one million people to say Chelsey’s name in social media using #ForChelsey.

Evamor has also asked to have 200,000 people donate at least $5 to Snowdrop at www.gofundme.com/forchelsey.  If you can’t do any of that, perform a random act of kindness in Chelsey’s name.
