Epicurean Project to Benefit Recipe for Success on October 8th

THE CITY’S HOTTEST CHEFS WILL COME TOGETHER FOR ONE NIGHT OF INNOVATIVE GASTRONOMIC COLLABORATION

The event, to be held at The Revaire, will feature 23 Texas-based chefs

Protein and specialty food company Martin Preferred Foods is gearing up for its annual event – The Epicurean Project – set to take place on Monday, October 8 at The Revaire located at 7122 Old Katy Road.

WHAT IS THE EPICUREAN PROJECT?

The first food show of its kind, The Epicurean Project is a hybrid event that is equal parts culinary think tank and creative food preparation showcase.

Its objective is to combine the freshest ingredients in the marketplace and intertwine these ingredients with current food trends.

PARTICIPATING CHEFS

Twenty-three Texas-based chefs — executing both savory and sweet dishes — will become the vessels through which this mission is executed.

Participating chefs include Hassan Obaye (Le Colonial), Dominick Lee (Poitin), Jeff Taylor (Steak 48), Alex Padilla (Ninfa’s on Navigation), Greg Martin (Bistro Menil), Brandi Key (LASCO Enterprises), Thomas Laczynski (Fig & Olive), Arnaldo Richards (Arnaldo Richards’ Picos), Mary Cuclis (Pondicheri), Mauricio Ferrarese (Sud Italia), Russell Kirkham (Artisans), Fadi Dimassi (Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill), and Mark Schmidt (Rainbow Lodge).

A full list of participating chefs can be viewed at EpicureanProject.com.

Guests can also expect interactive cooking demonstrations, product sampling, and an engaging panel discussion comprised of the region’s premier culinary minds.

The expert panel will dive into the future of the ever-changing restaurant industry, tackling topics such as technological culinary advances and the effects of food and climate policy across the dining landscape.
