Houston restaurants are Super Bowl ready with specials across the board

Houstonians and visitors alike will have the chance to take in Super Bowl 51 specials from entrees to cocktails, desserts to brunch and more. Take a look at how you can fit in all of these in your schedule!

Before you begin your game day festivities, stop by Damian’s Cucina Italiana for lunch and enjoy a variety of traditional Italian staples. Fan favorites include Fico ala di Maiale, pork tenderloin medallions wrapped in proscuitto with a fig-port wine reduction and served with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans;and Lasagna Bolognese, pasta layered with ground veal, mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan cheeses baked in pomodoro. The Midtown eatery will be open for lunch only on Sat., Feb. 4, from 11 am – 2 pm.

Celebrate Super Bowl at chic Milano Bar, located on the first floor of Radio Milano in CITYCENTRE. Belly up to the bar and show your team spirit with festive cocktails and food specials.

Pair any of the drink specials with Chef Jose Hernandez’s prix fixe, three-course, Texas Tasting menu for an elevated tailgating experience. Priced at $28 for lunch and $35 for dinner, menu highlights include Yellow Corn Chowder, Slow Smoked Wagyu Brisket, Honey-Chipotle Baby Pork Ribs and Texas peach pie. The Texas Tasting menu will temporarily replace Radio Milano’s power lunch menu, as well as the dinner tasting menu throughout Super Bowl week and weekend. Super Bowl drink specials will also be offered throughout the week and weekend.

Shake Shack is offering the “Touchdown Toffee” exclusively at the Houston Galleria Shack in celebration of the Big Game landing in Houston. Available from January 29 to February 5, the Touchdown Toffee is spun with vanilla and chocolate custard, chocolate toffee, peanut butter and topped with chocolate sprinkles.

Springbok, the Downtown destination for bites and beverages, will be celebrating Super Bowl all week long with an array of unique dishes, a game day brunch buffet and food and drink specials.

Join the huddle and cheer on your team while feasting on Chef Seth Greenberg’s Blitz Boards, which will offer Houstonians and out of town guests a taste of the competing teams’ hometown food traditions, all arranged on wooden serving boards crafted in-house by Sous Chef Ivan Giani. Other week long specials include $1 gulf oysters, served with house-made crackers and cocktail sauce, and $10 buckets of beer.

For those wanting to get an early start on game day, join Springbok for a Kegs & Eggs Brunch Buffet, from 10 am – 3 pm. Priced at $35 per person, guests can enjoy one complimentary Texas draft beer along with variety of brunch items like chilaquiles, deviled eggs and cheesy grits. An abbreviated a la carte menu will also be available. For those on the go, swing by Springbok’s patio for a brat to-go or a snack bag filled with Texas sized pork rinds and chili popcorn.

Four Seasons Bayou and Bottle Super Bowl:  Selection of over 100 bourbons and whiskeys to choose from, among them is a selection of Van Winkle Family Bourbons as well as Michters 10 yr. and 20 yr.

Hotel Derek is kicking off Super Bowl Sunday a little earlier than the rest! 

So if you’re looking for a hot spot to pre-game we’ve got you covered. Sunday, February 5 from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for Tailgate Brunch! Menu highlights will feature an Omelet + Waffle + Carving Station, plus a full hot + cold buffet with signature dishes like Fried Chicken Benedict, Smoked Salmon, Seasonal Fruits, Buttermilk Biscuits and so much more to get fueled for the big game.  La Fisheria: La Fisheria, which is in the middle of Super Bowl action downtown, will have live music on Friday and Saturday night next week. Friday’s entertainment will be a trio and Saturday will be Angelucho y su Copacabana, a Cuban salsa band —   www.angeluchocopacabana.com/.

State of Grace:  Super Bowl cocktail called ICING THE KICKER. It’s made with a “chorizo washed” Mezcal, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur and garnished with basil, thyme, chives, & fennel. It’s a smoky, sweet, VERY unique, herbal concoction. Closed for private events on Friday night 2/3 and Saturday night 2/4.
