Caracol: Award-winning Chef Hugo Ortega presents a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet with an array of Antojitos from the comal, marinated vegetable salads, Chicharrones Stews, Enchiladas (fish or shrimp), Seafood-stuffed Poblanos, Empanadas, and rotating egg dishes, Cocteles and Ceviches, and plenty of succulent seafood offerings!  Pastry Chef Ruben Ortega prepares a bountiful arrangement of traditional Mexican fresh baked breads, cookies, candies and pastries. D’Amico’s Italian Market Café:  Enjoy an authentic Italian meal this Mother’s Day at D’Amico’s!  They have everything, from fresh housemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, delicious meat and seafood entrees, and, of course, dessert! Want to cook for mom at home? D’Amico’s sells all of their fresh pastas to-go, and all the other fixin’s you need can be found in the Market, from D’Amico olive oil to imported tomatoes, olives, gluten-free pastas, cookies, wine and more! Etoile Cuisine et Bar: Visit from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. for a special Mother’s Day brunch. Guests will enjoy delicious dishes like Foie Gras Au Torchon (foie gras torchon, dry prune mousseline, toasted brioche), Filet De Sole Meunière (filed of sole “meunière”, roasted cauliflower, snow peas, roasted Peruvian potatoes) and Profiteroles À La Pistache (pistachio profiteroles, hot chocolate sauce). $68 per person.

Kenny & Ziggy’s New York Delicatessen:  Try their house specialties including sky-scraping sandwiches, filled with a variety of traditional deli favorites; corned beef and pastrami, cured in-house and used in a variety of dishes; entree salads; smoked fish; stuffed cabbage served in a sweet & sour sauce; Hungarian goulash; chicken soup; Kenny & Ziggy’s famous chopped liver, served as an appetizer, on the deli plate and in a variety of sandwiches; homemade cheese blintzes, served with strawberry or blueberry preserves; noodle kugel; kasha varnishkas, traditional dish of egg barley farfel with mushrooms; New York-style cheesecake; and world’s largest éclair. Quattro ~ Four Season Houston:  An annual tradition for Houstonians, Mother’s Day Brunch provides something for every member of your family from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.  While a live pianist plays, make your brunch selections from an extensive selection of more than 75 menu items, including traditional breakfast favorites, fresh pastas, fresh hot entrees and salads, and a full dessert buffet. There will also be a chef on hand to prepare the omelet of your dreams while guests supervise, and diners can choose from several carving stations with roasted meats or pick a lighter fare from the large array of fresh seafood. The price of the brunch includes mimosas and bloody marys.  Children have their own buffet, filled with their favorite kid food: chicken fingers, pizza, chocolate milk and more. Rainbow Lodge: The restaurant will be open for Mother’s Day Brunch from 10 a.m. — 3 p.m. offering a 3-course Gulf Coast-inspired menu for $49 per person plus tax & gratuity.  Celebrate with Champagne, Border Palomas, Bellinis & Texas Bloody Marys.  Dinner will be served from 5-8 p.m. featuring their regular dinner menu and $15 Sunday Supper feature and half-price wines.  Reservations highly recommended.  Rainbow Lodge is located at 2011 Ella Blvd., 713-861-8666. Trevisio:  Chef Jon Buchanan is offering a bounteous brunch buffet, including live action stations, this Mother’s Day from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. A sampling of items includes fresh fruit, imported and domestic cheeses, smoked salmon, roasted potato hash, cinnamon-raisin French toast, pasta with sausage & rapini, grilled vegetables, wild mushroom risotto, omelet station, prime rib and beef tenderloin, and a dessert buffet.
